4.4.2. Schedule Erasure for Erasing Files and Folders

You can create or schedule tasks to erase selected files and folders at your convenience.

Steps to set Scheduler for Files and Folders:

1. Run Stellar File Eraser .
2. Select Schedule Erasure from Select Option displayed on the left pane of the screen.
3. Select Erase Files & Folders tab from the right pane of the screen as displayed below:

1. Choose the frequency period for running the eraser process from the options provided in the Run drop-down menu:

• Select Daily to run scheduler daily.
• Select Weekly to run scheduler every week.
• Select Monthly to run scheduler every month.

1. Select the specific time from Time option for the eraser process.
2. Click Browse under Choose items section**.** Select the desired file or folder and click Open .
3. The list of selected files and folders will appear. Use Browse button to add as many files or folders as you want.

1. Check/Uncheck against the respective file or folder that you want to erase.
2. Click OK to schedule.
3. A message “Task scheduled successfully “ appears. Click OK to finish the process.

Note: Ensure that application is closed before the scheduled eraser task.
